Sculptra is a dermal filler made from a biocompatible material called poly-L-lactic acid. Sculptra treats the underlying cause of facial aging by replacing lost collagen. It is a bioactive filler, meaning Sculptra stimulates collagen formation slowly over time. Our Miami (Coral Gables) patients choose Sculptra when they want long lasting volumizing results.

AREAS TREATED

Sculptra can be used to treat the deep folds between the nose and the mouth (nasolabial folds or smile lines) the Temples, and cheeks among others.

RESULTS

A series of injections are often needed to create significant change, at least three sessions spaced out over a few months. In contrast to hyaluronic acid fillers and Radiesse, results are not instant, rather they appear over time. Once the recommended number of treatments is performed, however, the results achieved from Sculptra can last up to 2 years.
